The Dorman Cup

The Dorman Cup is named in honor of Henry “Hank” Dorman who was a fixture in the local golf community, as well as an accomplished Harrisonburg businessman.  Hank was a stockholder at Lakeview, and served as President of the Board for seventeen years.  He was also committed to establishing and supporting youth sports opportunities throughout his life.  For this reason, the First Tee of Harrisonburg and the Lakeview Junior Golf Program are the primary beneficiaries of this year’s tournament.

Eligibility: Open to all Amateur and Professional Golfers (1 pro per team)
Format:  2-Person Best Ball ~ Teams will be Flighted after Day 1 scores.
Divisions: All teams will be in the same division.
Starting Times:  8 a.m. Starting Times ~ Both Days
Course Rotation:  Day 1 – Peak/Lake   Day 2 – Mountain/Spring
Tee Assignments:  Men – White Tees;  Senior Men (70+) – Gold (as of 5/21/12); Ladies – (Red)
Entry Fee:  Member Entry $100/person  Non-Member Entry - $150/person
Entry Includes:   2 Rounds (Golf, Golf Cart, Lunch) & Tee Gift, Prizes
Prizes: Top 3 Teams in each Flight
Entry Deadline: May 21st ~ Entry Fee checks made payable to: Lakeview Golf Club
