Lakeview is a well-maintained, year-round club located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Its 36 holes offer players at all levels a fun and challenging experience.

The facility has a full-service pro shop, driving range, separate practice greens for chipping and putting, and hosts many golf events.

Lakeview is the home course for James Madison University's men's and women's golf teams.

Readers of the Daily News-Record voted Lakeview as the "Valley's Best Golf Course.

Lakeview Junior Golf Camp: Fun and Successful

From June 24-26, 30 local junior golfers between the ages of 9 and 17 participated in a 3-day golf camp run by Lakeview's Teaching Professional, John Rogers (above, right). The players, at beginner and intermediate levels, learned fundamental skills of the full swing and short game through practice and organized contests on the driving range, putting green, and chipping green. The camp culminated with an on-course tournament and putting contest where prizes and gift certificates were awarded.

Wounded Warrior Fundraising Efforts Announced

July 4 Weekend Fundraiser

In an effort to support, honor and celebrate America’s servicemen and women, Lakeview Golf Club is introducing a new philanthropic campaign benefiting the Wounded Warriors Fund of Virginia premiering the weekend of July 4, 2008.

September Tournament Slated

On September 13, 2008, Lakeview will host a tournament to benefit the Wounded Warriors of Virginia with 100 percent of all proceeds being donated to the cause. The tournament and a slated open air party will be open to the public.
