Steve Johnson won the 39th annual Lakeview Amateur with rounds of 70 and 77 to edge out Wayne Smith and Matt Moyers by a single stroke over the two day event.

Tim Driver Takes Title with Playoff Win

Tim DriverAfter firing an impressive 66 in round one, JMU standout Tim Driver followed with a 2-under-par 70 on day two of the event to earn a playoff berth with Grady Ruckman who fired a pair of 68s. The two entered into a sudden death playoff to determine the Lakeview championship. Driver secured the win on the second playoff hole.
